SEO and Google Ads for professional firms

Most agencies pitching your firm have never read an SRA advertising rule or worked to a filing deadline. I run search and paid campaigns for professional services businesses, and every report starts with cost per enquiry.

Shown with each client's permission. Deliberately not linked: several of these businesses share directors, and a page linking all of them would look like something it is not.

Recent results

Clients are named only with their written permission. Figures we publish ourselves carry the date they were measured and the source they came from.

Who I work with

Regulated and trust-critical firms

A narrower list than most agencies will admit to. It also means I have already had the compliance conversation, and I know which claims your regulator will not let you make.

What I do

Four things, done properly

  • SEO

Technical fixes, local search and content aimed at the searches that produce enquiries.

  • Google Ads

Campaigns measured on cost per enquiry, with conversion tracking that reports real outcomes.

  • Web design

Fast, accessible sites that pass Core Web Vitals because of how they are built, not by later optimisation.

  • Social media

Organic and paid, where it earns its place. For many professional firms it does not, and I will say so.

How it works

Four steps, in this order

  1. Step 01

    Audit

Your site, your rankings, your ad account and your analytics, and a written account of what is wrong. You get the report whether or not you hire me.

  2. Step 02

    Agree the target

One number we are both working to, usually cost per enquiry or enquiries per month. Not sessions, not impressions, not rankings on their own.

  3. Step 03

    Do the work

Technical fixes first, because content on a broken site does nothing. Then the pages and campaigns that go after the searches worth having.

  4. Step 04

    Report monthly

What moved, why it moved, what happens next, and an honest note on anything that cannot be measured.

Straight answers

Things I will not tell you

  • Never

That I can guarantee a ranking position

Nobody can. In front of a professional audience the claim is disqualifying.

  • Never

    That results arrive in weeks

Paid search can move quickly. Organic search usually takes three to six months to show properly, and I will say so before you sign anything.

  • Never

That a statistic is true without showing you where it came from

You check things for a living. So do I.

  • Never

That your traffic went up, when what you asked for was enquiries

Traffic is a means. The report leads with the number you actually care about.
