The challenge
Short-term rentals in Cornwall that depended on listing platforms, where commission comes off every booking and the guest relationship belongs to the platform rather than the owner.
The strategy
A new website with direct booking enquiries as the main action on every page, and a page for each property describing it and where it is, so the site can be found for searches about the places guests want to stay.
The results
The site went live in 2026 and its search data is only just starting to build, so there are no search figures here yet. What can be measured now is speed: tested with Google PageSpeed Insights on 8 October 2026, the mobile homepage scores 88 for performance and 100 for accessibility, best practices and SEO.
